Westfork Country Band

Westfork is a Fort Worth country band built on decades of live performance and a deep love for 90s-era honky tonk. The band brings together a lineup of seasoned musicians whose individual credits read like a roster of country touring veterans. Lead vocalist Dan Grambort commands a confident, straight-ahead delivery suited to both heart-wrenching ballads and Saturday night two-steps. Lead guitarist Steve Snedegar is a multi-instrumentalist whose versatility spans electric and acoustic guitar, pedal steel, lap steel, and banjo. A significant chapter of his career unfolded with Jeff Stevens & the Bullets (Atlantic-America Records), where he was part of the country band lineup that toured with the group and played guitar during a summer tour with Hank Williams Jr. The rhythm section is anchored by drummer Dex Deville, who brings clean, confident playing rooted in the tight, radio-ready drum sounds of the 90s, and John Laird on bass guitar (who toured with Janie Fricke). Lastly, pedal steel guitarist Mike Heavner and keyboardist Doug Roane complete the band. Westfork specializes in dancehall music past and present, cutting their setlists from classic country and contemporary cuts with an eye toward keeping the dance floor alive. Whether the venue calls for drive and energy or a moment of genuine emotion, the band knows exactly when to push and when to lay back. With many years of experience blending classic and contemporary sounds, Westfork delivers the kind of live country that feels both rooted in tradition and energized for the room it's playing.
